When « SYSTEME U, » a national leader in consumer product distribution, relocated its headquarters near the International Market of Rungis, the vacant building in Créteil became an opportunity for innovative urban renewal.

Demolition-Reconstruction Study to Eco-Regeneration: A Paradigm Shift

Initially tasked with a standard demolition-reconstruction study, Regenium Capital took a bold step to explore alternative solutions for the eco-regeneration of the building. The vision was to breathe new life into the structure, going beyond conventional approaches to create a space that transcended functionality.

A Creative Solution: Dual-Function Building with Eco-Friendly Design

Regenium Capital proposed a creative and environmental-friendly solution that challenged traditional norms – retaining the concrete structure. The building was reimagined with a dual function: residences for PhD researchers on the upper floors and student accommodation on the lower levels. In collaboration with the Rabot Dutilleul group, the audacious plan was realized in less than 18 months.

Results: 232 Furnished Dwellings, Certified « Patrimoine Habitat »
